Kunstreparatur
For repairing rips or holes in jeans, the Seiko CW-1 darning machine is legendary. By using a fine, colored cotton thread, the darned area is barely visible and wonderfully renews the original fabric in its stability. Thus, no additional fabric is used for this type of repair. Rather, the denim is imitated by a weave of thin threads.
For all Ruttloff jeans, I offer a free repair within the first year. All subsequent years are offered with a 50% discount. Repairs of jeans from other brands are also possible. Should you require a cost estimate, please feel free to send me photos. Send me the damaged jeans, with a note of the areas to be repaired, to this address.
Hemming with "lined hem" - Hems with "lined hem"
The colored accentuation of the "lined hem" not only provides a more stable hem but also creates a beautiful, subtle contrast at the leg opening of the jeans.
For all Ruttloff jeans, I offer a discounted hemming service with a "lined hem". Hemming of jeans from other brands is also possible. Tapering - Tapering of jeans
Tapering describes a narrowing of the leg width, especially in the hem area of jeans. This is possible with an original inseam and original hem. Tapering includes a free shortening - if desired. All prices for this service can be found in this table.
