Johann Ruttloff
Early on, the mind behind the Ruttloff label developed a special affinity for denim - not just for the material itself, but for its processing, mechanics, and artisanal logic. In 2008, he began to teach himself how to make jeans.
By 2010, he had continuously refined patterns, manufacturing, and production processes, and finally founded the company that still bears his signature today. As founder, designer, and mechanic, he unites design, construction, and technology in one person. From the initial draft to the processing, and even to the maintenance and modification of the machines, each garment is created from a holistic understanding of material and process.
His work stands for durable design, functional construction, and a clear stance on quality and craftsmanship - reduced in expression, precise in execution, and driven by deep respect for the product.
