HOW TO MEASURE
To get a perfectly fitting Ruttloff jeans, it is advantageous to correctly measure a favorite pair of jeans from your own wardrobe. This way, unnecessary returns are avoided, which also benefits the environment. By saving time and resources, your new handcrafted garment can also be put to use sooner. To make measuring as quick and easy as possible, a small measuring guide is provided below.

1. Taille
To measure the waist, pull the waistband of the jeans slightly taut and to an even height, then draw a straight line from one end to the other with the measuring tape.
The button must lie on the drawn line.
In the example: 43 cm
2. front rise
Lay the crotch area of the jeans flat and measure from the inseam to the end of the waistband.
In the example: 23.5 cm
3. hip
Measure the hip 13 cm below the front waistband, from one end to the other.
In the example: 49 cm
4. hintere Leibhöhe
Lay the crotch area of the jeans flat and measure from the inseam to the end of the back waistband.
In the example: 37.5 cm
5. top thigh
To measure the thigh, lay the jeans flat and lay one of the legs on top of the other. Now measure from the outer edge to the middle of the flat felled seam.
In the example: 28.8 cm
6. knee
Determine the knee width from 33 cm below the crotch seam.
In the example: 19.7 cm
7th
To measure the leg opening, lay the hem as flat as possible and measure from one end to the other.
In the example: 17.3 cm
8. inseam and outseam
Measure the inseam length from the center of the crotch seam to the hem.
Determine the outseam length from the top of the waistband to the hem.
In the example: 91.5 cm and 116.5 cm
