Compared to buying new, this saves an extreme amount of resources and ensures the durability of your favorite piece.
REPAIR invisible repair
For repairing tears or holes in jeans, the Seiko CW-1 tamping machine is a living legend. By using a fine dyed cotton yarn, the darned area is barely visible and beautifully renews the original fabric in its stability. Thus, this type of repair does not use additional fabric. Rather, the denim is imitated by a braid of thin yarns.
SASHIKO REPAIR visible repair
Holes and tears can also be processed much more visible. The techniques of sashiko create wonderful hand stitching, usually incorporated into ornamental patterns. In addition, the holes and tears can be underlaid with other fabrics in order to add a color detail.
HEMMING Shortening jeans
For all Ruttloff jeans we offer free shortening with the Union Special 33500 G. The shortening of jeans of other brands is also possible.

LINED HEM hemming jeans
An alternative to the classic shortening is the „lined hem“. In this process, a mostly colored fabric is sewn in as a line in the hem. This processing of jeans of other brands is also possible.
TAPERING tapering of jeans
A tapering describes a narrowing of the leg width, especially in the hem area of a pair of jeans. To renew the inner fell seam it requires a special technique. Here the Union Special 35800 DQ is used, which design is perfectly suited for this technique.
