the story

Since 2010 I have been producing high-quality jeans made of Japanese denim with the Ruttloff label.
In addition to the limited collections, my manufactory specializes in individualized products such as custom jeans and made-to-measure jeans.

SEWING

The precise sewing processing of reinforcements at all stress points of our jeans ensure little wear and tear. Even with intense loads, the jeans are extremely durable.

Denim

In addition to all the processing techniques, high-quality denim from Japan creates the basis for durable jeans. The cotton used is extremely strong and will age beautifully when woven due to its natural indigo dyeing.

ZERO WASTE

When cutting, there are leftover fabrics whose high cotton quality we would like to preserve. The waste is collected, shredded and is to be woven back into fabric internally by 2025 at the latest.

FAIR PAYMENTS

In addition to a good wage, our tailors and seamstresses receive a bicycle for their daily commute. Since the production of jeans is a physically demanding activity, sporting activities are also financially supported.

RECYCLING

In addition to recycling our leftover fabrics, we also accept older products from our manufacture in order to recover their cotton.
This means that waste can be recycled as a valuable resource and the climate impact can be reduced compared to new cotton. Customers receive 10% off new Ruttloff jeans from our collections when they return them.

PACKAGING

In order to conserve resources, we ship our products without tissue paper or additional packaging material.
No plastic packaging or anything else is used. In addition, the packages are as small as possible to allow more efficient shipping.
