Recycling

Older Ruttloff jeans are disassembled and their fibers are recovered.

RECYCLING

In addition to recycling our leftover fabrics, we also accept older products from our factory to recover the cotton. Before this can happen, all metallic elements have to be removed by hand in order not to damage the shredders. The process is still being developed and is scheduled to go live in 2025. See the post for more information ZW PROJECT. This means that older cotton is used as a valuable resource and the climate impact is reduced compared to new cotton. Customers receive 10% off new Ruttloff jeans from our collections when they return them.

ZERO WASTE

When cutting, there are leftover fabrics, which I would like to keep the high cotton quality. The waste is collected, shredded and is to be woven back into fabric internally by 2025 at the latest.
